Kind Words from Our Members
Celebrating Our Heritage
Proudly Britsburgh
Without the profound influence of the British Isles, we wouldn't have the Pittsburgh we have today. From English settlers (1700s) to Welsh miners (1800s) to Scottish and Irish industrialists (into the 1900s), the Steel City's UK lineage is undeniable. Britsburgh was established to celebrate and carry these connections into the 21st century and beyond.

Our Heritage (Past)
Originating as the British-American Business Council in 1995, our organisation was initially established to foster business development in the Pittsburgh area through overseas connections. In 2012, we reorganised as British-American Connections Pittsburgh, which birthed the Britsburgh brand. Reformed and renewed in purpose, we've been cultivating a deeper appreciation of UK culture in the Steel City since 2015.
Community Partners (Present)
The future of Britsburgh continues to brighten through our engaged and growing membership base, and the passionate support of our community partners throughout the Pittsburgh region, who vigorously uphold our traditions in arts, entertainment, sport, food, and beverage.
